    (from the MTR development team):

Here's a technique that seems to work for ripping some new titles with ARccOS copy protection, such as Resident Evil, Forgotten, and maybe others.
    • Launch MTR and insert DVD.
    • If it doesn't switch automatically, switch it to Full Disc ARccOS mode in the 'Mode' tab.
    • Go ahead and rip the DVD, setting RCE Region if required, etc. Ignore any 'Bad Sector' messages that come up, as long as the rip completes successfully.
    • Launch DVD2OneX (Popcorn might be able to work on these, but I haven't heard of a way), set the source to the VIDEO_TS folder MTR just extracted, and switch it to Movie Only mode.
    • Make sure the correct title is selected, select the "Cells/Chapters/Layers" tab in the right side drawer, and uncheck any cells with zero time and size.
    • Proceed with the compression.
    • Use your favorite method to burn to DVD-R.

This makes a movie-only backup of these films, but that beats bupkiss...
