reviews all say 1clickdvd copy is best, is that true?

    even without it, 91% of players will play DVD-R and 87% will play DVD+R
    hope that helps
    also, can't you change the booktype in the firmware?

    I am not sure how that would be done. I have the latest firmware for my LG GSA 4163B vA105.

    So, how do you access the firmware dialog box to change the booktype?

    I always do it before any burn w/decrypter, but would also like to do it with cloneDVD.

    i have a plextor, so it's done with plextools
    nero will also do it though, don't think clonedvd will,
    but you can look for a hacked firmware that will do it automatically no matter what the prog

    You can use DvdInfoPro to set your booktype. This is what I use for my LG 4163b in combination with DvdXCopy RF.
