Ridata disc stops playing after heats up???

    do labels cause problems?

    Found out why some discs won't read.
    Its my DVD burner! they work fine a friends LG, mine is a Benq. Which is usually a better DVD-RW???

    labels cause speratic problems.they alter the tint of the data area on the dvd a little bit.maybe causing minor skipping or maybe not to work at all.case in point,i backedup a ps2 game and it didnt work at all.i took off the label i put on it and it worked.ive backed up movies that worked great before i put the labels on then noticed minor glitches with the labels on.those were mainly verb dvds,i put labels on my sony dvds and have no problems at all.thats what i mean by speratic

    Oh no! I put the wrong firmware on my DVD-RW and now it just says it is a CD rom, I tried putting the proper one on and it says drive not supported, how can I get the firmware cleared off???

    Help?
