Hey everyone, after a lot of crapping around with my v3 and reading the hackers bible I have sucessfully downloaded a ringtone to my motorola v3. I can play it when I go into settings>sounds on my v3 menu. I uploaded it with p2kman. When I set the sound as a ringtone via my phone, the phone says "Changed calls - youandme2.mp3 (my ringtone)." But then when I call my phone I still get the deafault continental ringtone that I've always used. I tried turning of caller ID but that didn't work. Does anyone know what I've done wrong? Thanks.
Have you tried to use another ringtone other than this one? Try that first. All i ever did was D/L the ringtone. Then go to it, then go to the menu, then select set as ringtone. Do you have your stored #'s on the sim card or stored on the phone?
