Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I'm trying to rip my dvds of TV shows to a hard drive. I'm coming across the problem of that the episodes are split into 2 separate VOB files. I wish to rip the whole episode as one single avi file (only known format my tv reads from external source) I know that .IFO files can read it as a single episode. So if anyone knows of a program to does this and maybe a guide would be gratefully appreciated. cheers.
DVDFAB could most probably do it on the fly or chances are the software below recently listed might be able to as well, the tut section of AD is there if you need it,if for some reason two files are created i think it's avi demux that joins avi's into one single file. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_video/video_tools/free_studio.cfm edit:virtual dub is what joins http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-4/joining_avi_files_with_virtualdub_question-893605/#5428852
and avidemux.. never worked out how to use virtual dub.. seems overly complicated for a simple splice of an avi file.
