Yes I have, multiple times now. I'm not going to get very in depth, but here's how I do it. First off I use ANYDVD HD, then I open up NERO 8 and
rip to an image file and then burn it onto a REWRITABLE 25 or 50Gb Blu-Ray disc. I don't cut out any thing. It's an exact copy with menus and extras all on the back-up. The new disc plays perfectly fine on my 60 Gb PS3.

Oh yeah, you will need a blu-ray player and burner of course.

Yeah all you have to do is burn the image file to a disc, and thats all. Although, I highly suggest that you use BD-RE discs.

Can somebody tell me what i am doing wrong, when it comes to backing up a blu-ray disc to play on my PS3. I can get it to play on my computer, but not on my PS3. I use Anyddvd hd to rip it my hard drive. After which i add the file to nero 8, (Nero Burning Burning Rom) with UDF of 2.5 to burn it on a blank disc. I creating a image file and doing other thing but nothing seems to work. I have anydvd hd, Nero 8 Ultra, Cyberlink Hi-Def Suite and Ashampoo Burning Studio 7. Please can somebody help me.

Is there away to cut out menu or extras on a blu-ray disc, and or shrink it down from 50 gig to a 25 gig disc. Thanks again edeg02.

I have ripped Blu-ray discs successfully. First I used DVD-Cloner 5 and its plug-in to rip the movie onto hard drive, then I used Nero to burn it from the hard drive to a blank blu-ray disc. You may have a try.
