Hello. first of all i have an Athlon xp 2000, with a cd-rw Plextor 16/10/40 A and a dvd reader ASUS 16xMAX ata100. My OS is Windows XP pro SP1. simply i can't make cd ripping softwares like CDex and Exact Audio Copy work. i think it is an aspi problem but i have installed latest aspi twice! and aspichk seems to find it on my system. The only (bad) ripping software that works for me is Intervideo Winrip, that for me is not enough cause it does not let me choose the reader speed. can someone help me?
    Thnak you all
