Ripping/Burning Without " VIDEO_TS.IFO" file

    Hi Pete, I'm not too worried about the 8x part. That may be too fast and create problems anyway. I'll just stick to the 4x for now. This seems to be a nice drive. The front is black and silver and doesn't match the normal computer gray color, but so far so good. I did a couple of -R backups for my daughter since her Toshiba can't play +R and they work great. My Sony player will play either, so after I use up my +r Ritek, I'll just buy -R.
    I got my drive at Staples. Their site should show the 4x at least. Jerry

    It would appear that stupid has a name and they are called Manufacturers -

    It seems that TDK also has a burner that they advertise at 8X -
    Too bad there is no 8X media available - Go figure -

    Your right Pete, They make cars that do 140mph but the speed limit is 65. You can never figure out those people in high places that make the rules.
    Well 2x, 4x, and maybe some day 8x we still get the job done. Jerry
