DVD Audio Ripper can do it easily.
You can get one at http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-audio-ripper.html

    This is introduction from http://www.imtoo.com
DVD Audio Ripper is a software to rip DVD to mp3 or wav. You can use DVD Audio Ripper to extract DVD audio track (soundtrack), convert DVD to mp3 and convert DVD to wav with complete sound effects.

Do any of you guys (or gals)know if there is a freeware alternative to DVD Audio Ripper, as $20 is a bit pricey for my one and only music DVD (Led Zeppelin).

I use DVD Decrypter to save audio stream directly from DVD to an audio file (e.g. AC3).

For burning to CD you need 44.1 kHz 16 bit stereo .wav files.

Foobar2000 can convert the extracted audio to this format @ high quality (using SSRC resampler, dithered output, replaygain).

Another option would be getting the nero plugin(s) you need (e.g. AC3) from http://neroplugins.cd-rw.org, but I don't know if resampling quality is as high as fb2k's.
