RMVB subtitle removal

    Hi, could someone please tell me if it is possible to remove a subtitle that has already been muxed into the rmvb file?

    The only way to mux subs into rmvb files is by a 3rd party tool. Are you sure it is a seperate stream and not hard encoded?

    Hi,thanks for the reply. Actually, I don't know if it's a separate stream. All I can see is a single .rmvb file that already has subtitles built into it. Do you know which tools I could use to check and delete the subs?

    Well I guess you could remux to mkv using mkvmerge/mmg. No idea if it can detect subs from a rmvb, if it does, just uncheck it, If it doesn't, then no problem.

    If the output still has subs, then they are hard encoded, which would be my guess anyway.
