    Hi Guys,

I would really appreicate some help in this department. I bought and loved Roxi Video Wave 5 Power Edition and made VCD,s. I have just bought an LG (GSA)4040B DVD burner, done all the updates on it and Video Wave 5 still does not see or support it. Is there a patch for Roxio V W 5 to fix this? I have now edited my clips produced then and now cant burn onto my DVD burner. I am disappointed.

    Many Many thanks,

Well Personally I think Video Wave 5 Is a Pretty Mickey Mouse Program when it comes to DVD authoring(Encodeing Quality SUCKS,Doesn"t support the Best Audio formats for DVD Like AC3 or DTS and I could go on for ever) But if you wish you can still use it to Author your DVD"s, But you will need to use something else to Burn the Video_TS Folders to DVD...You just need to Output your Project as a DVD Folder(Video_TS) then Burn the Video TS folder with a different App Like Nero...The LG 4040B is a fairly New Burner so that might be why it isn"t supported yet but then again My Sony DRU-500A isn"t Supported in Video Wave and it has been arround for about a Year...good Luck

    Hi Minion,

Thanks so much for your advice. I did try burining my video_TS file with Nero, but it seems as though it needed to create its own background. I will try again and update you on my results.
I would have thought by now, Roxio would have updated their DVD support files.
    Thanks so much for replying.
