Running slow no idea why.

please disreguard my post about the error I had when I was tring to reformat. I have screens setup and my primary nonitor is my lcd tv.

when I was trying to load windows I could not see the very bottom of my screen. so I could not see that I saw supossed to press f6 to load my raid driver so thats where the error was comming from.

sory about that.

Can anyone recommend a free anivirisus besides avg 8? Althogh I was running slow and needed a reformat anyway avg free seemed to slow me down more. I have used avast and It seemed to slow me down to.

Before I was having problems with windows I was able to run avg 7 while downloading and play a game at the same time without having anything fell slow.

I am leaving for the weekend, but when I get back on monday I will install a few more programs and clone or image my hd so I will avoid having such a mess again.
Caqn some one tell me what is the difference between cloning a drive and making a drive image? Does a clone go on to annother drive and an image gets burned onto a cd or dvd?

 

I have installed progams I use all the time. When I chose where I wanted the programs to be installed I received propts for both programs that said somthing lik:

Is this bad? Someone did turn off my computer When windos was asking my to enter my s/n.

then it took me a couple of tries to load windows buttit seemed like it eventually go ok.

 

reformatted and all Is well. I just cant get the videos on my d: drive to play in divx player.
