Sorry to be vague but I mean, is there any signal sent by the T/W box that will highlight to them that I am using the Starview? The t/w box is also borrowed from a relative, who has no need for an extension, and so the card is also being used at a different address from where it is registered? Hope this makes a bit more sense.

i still dont understand but il give it a shot.if you have telewest or ntl broadband then you can just split that signal and connect one end to starview and one end to your broadband modem simple as ,tw or ntl will never no.regards to using other peoples subscription boxes in your gaf is just asking for trouble because it will be sending ntl info and it will not match up to your address and they will be wondering why your using someone elses box.
