    i use internet explorer and aol.

    but that is besides the point. i would advise you strongly to stop double posting and stop continually doing 'one liners' because it bugs everyone out, especially the moderators

    he has been in other areas as well, and most seem to think he is the once infamous killerc !!! run a search on the name, you will see what i am talking about. simply just wanting to add counts to his post, for what, who cares???? does it make you a better person cuz your title says 'member', 'sr. member', 'adaddict' ?????
    i'd rather jsut be know to help someone then have a friggin title next to my name.... look at ketola's title (ad founder) says... 'i hate titles'.....
    yet one more pointless thread by darth now !

    its the fact that you keep posting and posting and posting, and yet you have no positive infleunce to anyone. you are not offering advice, much less. enough said.................
    and other members have noticed this, as i am not the first, nor picking on you, but i had warned you in another area of posting too much.
    and i dont think that 'safety valve' will ever close, just cuz you ask it to be.

    For like the 12th time already, please BAN DarthMaul, look up his posts, they are always one liners that dont help anyone, everyone else that has posted here has helped hundreds of people. It is very annoying to have to read the NOTHING that he writes.

    My two cents now...

    Most of us know who has abused the Safety Value in the past, (no matter what their title is now.) They are still doing their one liners as well. Others that have earned their title the right way, by really helping folks here on aD are also well known and are very much appreciated here as well. You can run but you cannot hide.

    DarthMaul, the double posting is caused by ad's server which is hiccupping. wait awhile when posting & you notice the progress bar is going slowly. it will eventually post your message, just be patient. this has been talked about before & is up to drd to decide not us so can it!!

    Anyway, i posted a comment recently (maybe yesterday, my mind's a blur) but can't find it to copy/paste, so.....

    i don't like Safety Valve much (i'm not a moaner, honest, even i like to let off steam now & again), however if we didn't have safety valve or something like it, we'd have far much more irrelevance leaking into the techie forums than we do now, so in my humble opinion it's a necessary evil (evil's too strong a word but you get the gist)..

    ..but hopefully if AD can exclude areas such as safety valve from post count, the post boosters will lose interest. I'd even go as far as saying (in fact i did say it, but can't remember where i typed it lol) that some sites even have the post counts mark a thread as one post, ie all replies from one person in a thread would only count as one post. That would even further discourage pointlessness, again in my humble opinion....

    until then at least the majority know who the minority are.....

    edit- i'm not out to stir up debate/discussion re post counting, just airing an honest opinion

    Man i din't post 50 posts in safety valve, where did you get that idea from?
    I have witnessed about 50 posts from a single member in SV

    Man theres a 2 min gap between one of your double posts, It's called double-clicking, the rest are hic ups

    DVDBack is right
    IMO Darthmul is using the thread to bump up post, Instead of editing and adding he types a new reply, whats all that about?

    Like some other members have said leave the Safety Valve open but make it exempt from the post count.

    Can a 'hiccup' still occur 3mins after the original post, I didn't think it could.

    I thought it occured on the same minute, so therefore it was probably intended to be posted twice.

    Whats worse than your triple posts is that you are now trying to insult other members like J-Kwon and Lethal, that have helped MANY other members and newbs and have earned their titles.

    I do that because the clearer to understand rather than all one line, another pointless post! when are you going to learn?

    What exactly where gaining by letting me know how i post,

    Is it in the forum rules that your posts have to be on one line.. Err no

    Is easier to read.. I personally think it is

    I congratulated you personally on realising that I post on one line. I'm taking further part in this thread before i get accused overposting. So my views on the SV are leave it open but don't let the posters get actual reconigtion for it.
