    That will work for sure .....paul

    Hi,

    There are 2 methods to find the pincode on a dbox2

    either ftp into var/tuxbox/config and view neutrino.conf, look for parentallock_pincode=####

    the #### is the pincode.

    If you want you can do it from the dbox
    Choose Tuxbox Commander
    var ok
    tuxbox ok
    config ok
    scroll down to neutrino.conf ok
    then scroll down to the line, it is in alphabetical order.

    Thanks Paul , your a genius . Im in , im on chorus with a symbol rate of 6875 a bruteforce scan doesnt find anything so i had a look at the cable.xml file and its set up with the wrong symbol rates. Can I change this file manually as i know the freq and correct symbol rate or can i do a manual scan , for some reason this option will not highlight in the service many.

    Thanks so much Paul for your help...

    Grace

    Upload the irish10 cables.xml to var/tuxbox/config, delete the file scan.conf in the same subfolder and pull the plug.
    If you want FTPing to the box both devices must be in the same subnet. The first 3 numbering ranges of the IP's must be the same and the last different.
    You need a crossover network cable for a direct connection to the box.
