Samsung Intensity II MP3 Ringtones

    Many have asked similar questions but I'm still not sure what I need to do.

    I got a Samsung Intensity II from Verizon and want to use part of an MP3 file on my PC as a ringtone. I can download the MP3 as music, but not as a ringtone.

    Can I create a ringtone from an MP3 for this phone without buying something? It sounds like using Audacity and the Lame Compression Library may enable me to do it. Is that the only way or the best way?

    Create a ringtone from ur mp3, (search google), then text the ringtone to ur fone, then save as.
