Samsung SH-D163b and vista

    I got this drive from ebay flash with kreon and my PC have sata connection.its an acer with vista.every time that i turn the computer on it froze on vista logo and if i disconnect the drive it works normal.can somebody tell me if i have to change something on the bios setup,thanks

    I don't know if this will help but I ordered the same one from ebay but it was not flashed properly with Kreon firmware. You can get the flrmware from this thread install it and that may fix it.

    @marrero66,

    Try setting the drive as slave instead of cable select, maybe try a different ide channel.
