    Just wondering if any Samsung SH-S202 owners can tell me what the slowest cd-r burning speed these drives have.I can only find the fastest speed it does.I like to burn cd-r's slows as i'm what's known as an audiophile.Specs on this are not available so if an owner could pop one in and tell me it would be much appreciated.Doesn't matter if it's the sata or ide version i'm assuming they are the same.

    1X baby. And it means you have a problem and it's probably the DRIVE. I have one too and it was ok at first but then... (there's another thread on this somewhere at afterdawn) now it's 1X with -R and 2X with +R. Now, NERO is still "thinking" it's going to burn at normal speeds and only showing speed-options down to like, I guess 8X, but you can tell by the total time of the burn. (NERO provides this)
    A full DVDR (4.37 GB) burn speed&times are as follows:
    1X = 1 hour,
    2X = 30 mins,
    4X = 15 mins
    and so forth.
