I just my Sansa e280 and charged its battery. Then I changed the default USB method from MTP to the other choice. In Windows Explorer, I deleted all of the music that came on the Sansa, then created a new folder on the player for my music. Last, I copied a bunch of 192 KBPS MP3s into that folder and disconnected it from the PC.

Now the Sansa boots into a never-ending "Outer Limits," where the screen is in a constant scan state. You can't make out anything through the blur of the constant scan.

Powering off and on doesn't help. Now what?
