PATA hard drives are getting scarce and more expensive than SATA. Has anyone tried installing a SATA/PATA converter and SATA drive in an original Xbox? If I put a 1.5T SATA drive in an Xbox, I'd just have to partition many drives to use the entire space?

I'm mostly concerned about space. Any recommendations on a *small* conversion card?

    Thanks!

That's exactly the same thing i posted, though you get them faster through ebay. Dealextreme.com takes forever.

Thanks for the great link to the cheap hardware. I'll let you know how the install goes.
