Using a ASUS A8N SLI nForce4 Socket 939 motherboard would it be possible to do the following.

    Total of 6 Sata drives.

2 of them for the OS and applications, they will be in raid 1 to mirror all data in case of a failure.

4 will be for videos, music and sorts. Is it possible to have drive 1 and 2 in raid 0 to create one virtual drive, and then drive 3 and 4 in raid 1 to mirror drives 1 and 2.

The mobo has 4 sata ports, and then another 4, (red ones to teh left) and they are Silicon Image ports? What is that?

silicon image ,, (from what i know) is just a new way of rececing gigabytes, making it cheaper. and is supposed to enchance the performance, however i have not used this tech myself yet. so i dunno, hope that helps a little bit.

Here is the background of the computer that I may be building, in which I would like to work out the Sata raid question that is above. Let me know what you think of the computer.

    -SILVERSTONE SST-TJ05B-X Black Aluminum/Steel ATX
-ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX
    -AMD Athlon 64 4000+ ClawHammer/Hammer
    -CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200)
    -Maxtor DiamondMax 10 300GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive(x2)
    - 4 if I am able to do what I want in the original post.
    -Western Digital Raptor WD360GD 36.7GB 10,000 RPM Serial ATA150
    - 2 if I am able to do what I want in the original post.
    -Western Digital Raptor 36GB 10000RPM
    -eVGA 256-P2-N376-AX Geforce 6800GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16
    -CREATIVE Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS
    -NEC ND3520A DVD Burner
    -Sony DVD/CD Burner combo

I plan to use some Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compoundas well, so if you can suggest these things, with your experiences, heatsink, 120mm fans and 80mm fans. The fans should have a medium between airflow and noise level, it doesn't have to be silent.
