saving the soundtrack from a dvd

    The last 5 or 6 versions of dvdfab platinum have it. Open the 'mobile' option, choose 'generic', and it should be under the 'custom' link. Can choose to rip video & audio or audio only.

    really all you need to do is hunt around a little... there are a few freeware programs which do the same thing... like.. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/SmartRipper
    but I have my own method which works real fine for me.. full dvd rip to wav/flac or anything else ffmpeg will output in around 15 minutes, then audacity to split/tag whatever and jobs done. Don't go telling me xxx windows program does a better job because I can rip full 5.1 ac3 audio if I want to.. I just don't have any 5.1 sound hardware. ;)
