SB Audigy Front Device Help ??

    hi, i have an Audigy Platnium sound blaster card, this card comes with the face device that you can connect your headphones to or firewire, audio av cables, ever since i upgraded my PC , i cant get the headphones to work on the front device or even to connect a tape player to it. I have disabled the built in sound on the motherboard, but still no go. I have a Gigabyte k8nsnxp-939 , thanks for all support and help, very apreciate it

    I had one of the front Live Drives for an older sounblaster card, I think the Audigy model is pretty much the same. Never had any trouble with it, just check the cables is what I would suggest. There should be a data cable going to the audigy card and a power cable for the live drive. The power cable on mine had a small connector, like for floppy drive power. I assume that the card works if you connect speakers to it, just not through the front panel?
