    i just got a spund blaster live platinum 5.1 and i try to install the drivers but it said its not compatible with win xp i downloaded the drivers too but still dont work.

    what was the error message when you 1st tried to install the driver??

    there was no error message but i went to the hardware installed and it said there was no sound card detected.

    is it built into the motherboard or a card? does the motherboard see it? is there an unknown device in device manager??

    its a card and the motherboard recognizes it whe im connected to the internet.

    i made it work by installing the drivers from windows update thanks for ur help and time ddp.
