got the max 232 cable. connected it, followed the instructions but every time i try to download the firmware i'm getting the messages 'init fail (2)' and 'something wrong with init', the only thing i can see that i'm doing wrong is i'm not setting the baudrate but i cant see where to do this, any ideas?
got it sorted, the com port i was using wasnt working properly, i swapped ports and it worked first time
i dont know about jtagging but the cable i bought doesn't seem to be the one you need, this looks like the one, but it says it needs soldering, it also comes with the appropriate software, if you cant feed a thread on jtagging starview 4, i would start a new one http://www.tailor-madecircuits.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=31
