scenes?

    Is there a way to take certin scenes from a dvd and put them on the computer. Like take the best comedy scenes and put them on your computer. any help please

    Yes, try Shrink or Nero.

    Use shrinks 'start/stop point' function to trim each movie to the scene you want. Back up. Repeat for each movie scene

    ok i got that working but there is no sound when i try to edit it in my video editor. I use powerdirector v3. any help please thanks

    You said you were trying to get certain parts off of the DVD? If you put the start point at the begining of the scene and the end point at the end and hit back up you will only get that part. So what exactly is you situation?

    making them a format editable in powerdirector.

    i did the other steps but in power director it has no audio.

    Oh I see. So you do have the scenes you want then. I am not familiar with powerdirector, but once you had the scenes on your hard drive do you have audio when you play them threw you DVD playing sofware?
