Screen wont turn on for a Compaq presarioV6000 plz help !!! im short of money and the warrenty has expired. i took out the battery and tried to put poower in but the screen wont turn on we have had a couple of pwoer surges would that contribute if so wat will i have to replace :S
Could be a bad display... Does anything light up or does the fans run? if so it is more than likely your display. this can happen at anytime. it would be more cost effective to buy a new computer then replace the display If nothing lights up then it could be the motherboard which isnt as expensive. the best thing to do is have someone look at it w/o charging you.
