    If you have a site and you want to put it into other site's search engines such as yahoo, google, msn, ask geeves, etc... how do you do it?

    Are Yahoo and Google the only ones?

    Google and Yahoo is practically all you ever need. I use only Google myself... let's face it, you can't beat something that has more useful, meaningful, life-enhancing webpages than you could read even if a normal human's lifespan was 300 years.

    I think it has a lot of webpages, and a lot of hits since it's extremely popular. =D

    if two sites have the exact same information, the bigger of the two will be displayed first. but most of the time, the order is based on a percent match with your search criteria. AD doesn't come up because it's big, it comes up because it has everything! :)

    for submitting to over 40 searchengines, goto: http://www.submitexpress.com/

    don't forget to read about the metaTags, adding metatags to you'r site will make them more aproachable to searchengines, therefor they will be higher on the show list of the engine
