Selling laptop online

    Need a little advice, never sold a computer online. What is the best way to go about my existing password and things of that nature, any help on what to change would be appreciated.

    do a fresh install of windows after you delete & format the hard drive. recovery disk or recovery partition?

    depends on if it comes with a recovery disk or recovery partition.

    then sell it with no os installed but with the recovery disk.

    Thanks again D, the thing is that the OS on the machine now is from my own Win 8.1 disk.

    then you might have a problem selling it with no os installed & no disk nor recovery partition.
