Serious Issues with Adamx and Atarixlbox

Alright, so these programs are totally freaking out on me. For one, I can't get the virtual keyboard to work right in either of these emus. I can get to the keyboard but when, for example, I'm choosing a difficulty level from 1-8 (Adamx) for a coleco game, it won't do anything when I select it so I can't get into any games. How the hell do I make this thing work right? It's like the games are just ignoring the keyboard commands.

I'm having the same problem with AtariXLbox plus more problems on top of it. Now everytime I try to open an Atari 5200 game I get a "Self Test" screen where it wants to test for memory, audio-visual and keyboard. This happens no matter which rom I try to open.

I'm at the end of my rope with this damn xbox! Nothing seems to work right now. Is there anyone out there that can help me figure out any of this crap? Sorry for my rage.
