Your best bet would be to try this

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Menu 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

yeah it's on 419.000 the freq i was scanning?

a wee question, obviously now i've done a factory re-set i've lost my channel dump that was on it, will setanta changing freq affect the channel dump when i install it?

Depends on your provider and location details, what are they?

If you install the channel dump that you had before tSet change freq you will not get it , then you could try the manual scan again for 419000

Not sure of your area frequency. If you can still see it in your channel list delete it and then do an autoscan it should then appear at the bottom of your channel list.

I had a terrible time last night losing channels.

My ultimate solution is to go into installation, and delete every frequency, then do a power scan. This got me everything back except Setanta Sports 1 was just a test card, so I deleted this channel then did a manual scan of frequency 419. Jobs a goodun.
