setanta sports on Eurovox

    someone please help.....
    I am trying to get Setanta sports on my eurovox max boxes (ex1000 sl & Eurovox max red).

    How do I do this???

    I am on V1rg1n, in leicestershire.

    I have also lost other channels such as Rangers TV, Celtic TV, Liverpool TV to name a few.

    Please help....I am a total novice...

    When you have scanned your channels you will see a lot of channels starting with bic (if my memory serves me right). Look at these one by one and you will find all the channels you are after. You need to delete the old stations and rename the bic stations to Setanta etc.

    Thanks for you help.....I have managed to get them back.....had to reset the box to factory settings though....just scanning did't work.

    another question......
    My box used to update its codes automatically.....will it continue to do so after i have just reset it to factory settings?

    any help is appreciated!

    If you have the latest Firmware on your box then yes it will update, Factory Default and rescan does not affect your firmware in anyway what-so-ever okay, and it is sometimes neccessary to do just that. Although you can also do a Manual scan on a particular frequency rate to get channels back.

    Hi Petrified

    I have the same problem. Could you guide me through to exactly what I need to do to get the channels back?

    few newbe questions. when you factory reset does that mean you have to program your box again? I think my box last went off in september and i have had no problems since then except i have not been recieving setanta lfc chelsea tv etc.

    Your help in the matter would be appreciated

    Lie you..I am a new comer to this...hence the name Petrified!!!

    I followed the instructions on the afterdark forum titled

    "EUROVOX FIRMWARE & FLASHING GUIDE For UK & Ireland."

    My boxes were already 'flashed' so i did not have to update through the pc. The link has the step by step instructions by a user called Hiteck...that show you how to do a factory reset, and the scan for channels....this is what I followed. Make sure you make a note of your symbol rate though before you reset....you will need it for the scan.
