Setting up a pals starview

The usb to serial adaptor is simply not working.
Go to the device manager and set the adaptor to the first free comport.
Use that comport in your flashing program.

 

when i go to device manager , it says the device is workign properly and says its on (com4)

im not to handy with the device manager thing any more advice .???

 

Better off using a friends standalone pc as this will have a D9 serial port.

 

i have an old piece of shit pc u reckon that would do the job .??

It hasnt been switched on in over a year but i know it works,

i could put hte gtrom loader and the bin file on a memory stick and do it from there .??
