setting your dbox with remote only(nokia dbox 2)dublin

Hi Guys,

Followed the steps until you want to edit the codes, I have pressed 4 and can see the two codes. I then pressed ok but it just throws me into line 3.
I can't seem to highlight the code that I want to edit.
Can anyone help?

can any one help i have a nokia dbox2 have followed scoopdog guide to changing keys but i cant seem to edit to change the keys i cant even scroll has anybody got any idea what could be wrong i have telewest and live in north east england

Hi,

Create a txt file called keylist.txt
Include settings and save
FTP onto box, take a copy of the keylist file (just in case!) and delete.
Replace with the new file you created.
Reboot box and away you go.

I think that you are possibly making the same mistake that I was making, meaning that you can't edit the code.

Follow the instructions as per.
When you get to scrolling to Keylist.Txt ensure that there are files in it. Don't open the Keylist but press 4 it will then enlarge the codes and it is a doddle from there on.
Remember that you need to re-boot the machine in order that the changes will be saved.

hi,i was wondering if anyone can help me,my sagem dbox has gone down,i`ve managed to get the new key codes but can`t find any help on how to put them in as i`m a complete novice.if anyone can give me a step by step guide this lady will be very grateful.thanx in advance.

not a problem as you probably heard theres a auto rollover file available now that updates itself best of luck

 

go to cmd_config folder and make sure auto is (00)

a lot easier to navigate around go to the all in wonder menu and do the bizz also a nagra rom auto update is now online

 

Hi all I need help, I lost all my channels apart from the terestrial ones on the 8th of april along with everyone else. Since then I have tried various different codes which I have got off of this site but sadly there has been no change. So I was hoping that someone could answer theese questions.
My box is a nokia dbox2 and I live in an old NTL region just outside Glasgow.

I was wondering if there is any specific codes for this area?

Also when puting the codes in with the remote (I have no crossover lead for the laptop to dbox method) does it matter that all the letters that I am putting in are in lower case, if so how do I change them to capital letters?

Finaly, can I reset the dbox and start again from sctatch if all else fails?

Having the same issues with lost channels since begining of april.

Couple of questions:

1. Are the codes needed to "sort out" virgin ctv area specific?
2. Does anyone have the area codes needed for Huddersfield are, ex NTHell?

I have done it this way, but i am wondering, if virgin update codes will the boxes need to be updated like every week or will this fix work permantly. So does it need flashing?
