    Hi all,

I noticed a weird problem with my dvd-player, Pioneer 565-A yesterday.

First the setup: Panasonic 50" plasma (HD, takes 1080i). DVD-player connected with (good) component cable. Dvd-player in progressive scan-mode

When starting a dvd, for e.g. the legal-letter, is sharp as HELL... But when a menu is entered, or a movie is played (so, when there is movement), the picture is shaky (all is moving up and down a couple of pixels) and when for example a camera is turning, it is not going smooth but with hickups.

Does ANYBODY have a clue about this, i really do not know. I've tried a few settings, but I'm SURE it wasnt like this ofcourse ;-)
It's also not a problem of the disc itself, i've tried a few DVDdiscs, all the same.

    Thanks in advance,

    Pheno

    Hi there,

Yes, I've experienced exactly the same. Setup is:

    Sanyo PVL-Z2 Projector
Connections using good quality component cables.
    Pioneer 565-A in progressive mode

When playing a movie, the entire picture moves up and down by a couple of pixels.

The only way I managed to solve this was to change the output from the DVD player to interlaced which isn't ideal.

Any solutions or comments would be much appreciated.
