Having problems sharing folders. Both computers are running Xp and both are wireless. The folders are shared and can be seen on each computer. I can access folders on only one computer. Both have norton and are configured the same. I can ping each computer. I can access my laptop from my desktop, but cant access my desktop from my laptop.

    Help!!

On your desktop right click on My Computer/Properties then Remote

-You need to change some of the settings for configuration to be able to access your desktop from the laptop.

-Make sure the folder you are trying to share is set as a shared folder by right click on it and choose sharing then mark on the share this folder on the network.

The remote is checked on both, but I am not doing any remote. I can open shared folders on my laptop from my desktop, but I cant' open shared folders on my desktop from my laptop. I can see all the shared folders, but it says they are not accessible.
