I agree with sammorris personally i don't think it is worth the upgrade as you would not notice that much difference. If your wanting to game hard then spend a little more as this upgrade you would hardly notice.

u guys have given me great things to think about. if ido upgrade ill go with the g92.

the msi card comes with a game i figgure i can swell the game for $30 on ebay and i ve got a $40 rebaiot coimming, so it realy wouldnt coast me anything out of pocket. to upgrade.

or i could just wait untill there is a decent new card that comes out that steals the show. cards that are 2 yrs. old are still pretty much the way to go.

i am surprised the gtx is still the best proformer for the price.

is there anything comming out in the next few months i should keep my eye on?

There's rumours around for this that and the other, but I haven't heard anything that convinces me enough for me to consider it truth. Your best bet is to wait around and see what happens, a new generation of graphics cards is supposed to be in the pipeline, not sure how long away it is. The way I see it, don't upgrade your GPU for the sake of it, if you're struggling to pull a decent frame rate in a game using settings you'd ideally like to use, then don't wait for eternity to upgrade, but think hard about what your frame rate will be like in the same circumstances after an upgrade. A 30% increase in frame rate if you're only making 18fps only puts you at 23fps. As far as I'm concerned that doesn't really turn unplayable into playable. I usually stick with graphics upgrades that offer me near double the performance, if not quite there.

think i am going to wait. i was looking to upgrade becase my card is a little weak althogh it works well for me and i could do it at realy no out of pocket coast. this my first time buying parts for a gaming rig and i fear i under estemated the power of the graphics cards i should have bought.

i might overclock my current card. but going to go with something from the 10 series without waiting too long.

    thanks
    tom
