I don't know why but this week all i've done is commented on endless amounts of threads full of text speak. Please type properly. Have you read thru the stickied threads up top of the various xbox forums ?

Theres plenty of tutorials to do it yourself and all you need for basics is a sata cable and the correct sata card. I think the newer PCs have these as have seen some connect direct to PC but for mine i needed to purchase one.

I paid for mine to be flashed then purchased some kit allowing me to flash others, all together is set me back a little with a dvd burner too and hope I can break even from it.

Personally try it yourself, if you have a Hiatchi drive then worst case you do it wrong and you can redo it or even pay the guy to do it for you if all goes wrong but if you have a newer drive (lite on, i think), then pay someone or invest in a kit as this requires soldering.

    Hope that makes sense.

..and if so it'll get closed anyway so as not to attract those who always jump at the chance to flog their services.

However it looks as though the OP has gone missing anyways.
