shutter speed

    My shutter speed is expressed as
    0.5
    0.7
    1.0
    1.5
    2.0
    3.0
    4.0

    If i wanted to manually select these, how do i know what each one is for,

    what you are asking for is the key to taking good photos. What is Shutter Speed? what is Aperture Settings? what is ISO? this all has to do with exposure. And that is the key to taking good shots. focused, color, composition. Soooo you want classes......... here's a good one.... I don't promote anything, but it helped me out:

    you don't have to buy anything...... but this guys courses are a way to start to understand digital photography. Or simply use Google to find free courses if you can find them. Because to ask what does SHUTTER SPEED DO is a clear indication that you need some knowledge in photography.
