dreambox 800hd,..nice bit of kit, got one in from china google(kosda factory),.. a clone of course but 100% quality at half the price,

 

have brand new dreambox 500s still in box if anybody wants. pm me. dublin area. can set up if wanted

I am a new user, my dreambox has stopped opening non-free sites...
Some people told me that i should update the software. I havent be able to install an update (if i finf it)bcoz i dont know the username and password (they r nt the default ones).

I made a restore factory settings.
I need help to know how to find the image and in which directory i have to put it... plus how and from where i can get updates to upgrade my software...

If u have gemini image on it... download latest cccam.cfg from gemini server. then use dcc to edit the file (put in ur c line)

 

and if i am starting from 0 (restore factory settings) ??

 

yea u should still have the same gemini image on it. blue button addons. download from gemini server.. then press Cccam latest file. download that. then set cam to latest as in latest date or 2

12 . then just re input ur c line using dcc.. null modem cable from ur pc to box or via a wireless router u can get the ip addr of ur box and edit the cccam.cfg file (var/etc) save and exit and all should be ok again

Do you know the address(web) for the guy in Ireland, thats setting up the dreambox sysyem for €450?

 

some one is charging 450 to set up a Dreambox? am I reading that right?

 

Id say the box is supplied too Mickah, some rip-off artist all the same though @ 450

€450 is for the Satatlite dish the dreambox and a years subscribtion, and installation? This is what I've been told

 

Would this box work instead of 500s? and if so would it be much harder to set up?
