Shy Channels on sat with dreambox 500s

i doubt that at any point piopat advised you to use a pay server. not in his blood. so if that's your choice don't blame piopat for the consequences of your actions. you are completely responsible for your own illegal behaviour

 

guys a quick question somebody might know the answer to. i had 2 dreamboxes 800 working on a cline, i went away on hols and came back to find my sub had expired, i got 2 new cclines but none seem to work on either box. 1 is a clone and 1 is an orginal. am i wrong to assume that all i had to do was change the old line for the new ccline. i am assured both lines are working. any answer would be appreciated. both boxes were powered off for a couple of weeks.

 

Once you did it properly it should be fine, but you could get a line to test (from someone other than your current provider), and see if that works.

If the new test line works and the other ones don't you can assume the problem is not on your end!

ok does any1 know any1 that would get a box up and running just ready to put a sly card in if i was to send the box out to them as i have hit a wall with it now and dont seem to be getting anywhere

Dan 1985, If you follow Piopats setup guide,you will have no problems.

Like you I was stumped for a long time, until i read the setup, just go to Piopats signiture, and you will find what you are looking for, best of luck

 

Can anyone help,went to boot the 500s dream after i put the cline details in, and the machine is just hanging there flashing Darkstar 11 which was working on FTA till then.
cant get anything from remote.

I am connect to NThell in an apartment Block and no Satellite aloud in the Building.
Will the Dreambox 500s work thru the router or do you require a satellite.

you need a sat dish for it to work,

I suggest you look at the Kryptview A780 in that case, if yer in a cable only situation

A mate has one setup for me, we have Shy installed in the Block but i haven't joined Shy as Ntell are cheaper.
