Just make sure you use paypal cause should it go wrong you then have (paypal) to fall back on also checkout the seller see what kind of rating he or she has.

Every time there's a hint of a counter-measure by providers to
combat piracy people are on forums moaning & throwing in the towel.
Rest assured since the inception of c/s provs have thrown every
resource into defeating it. I'm surprised they haven't knocked C/s
out yet. When they do, one door will close & maybe another door will
open.
I prefer cable-c/s to sat-c/s because cable-sharers have to pay basic
subs to receive signal, whereas sat-sharers don't have to pay any sub
to receive signal. If everyone on sat went FTA or c/s sat provider
would have no income & would go off the air.
The world will end one day, until it does we are allowed to enjoy

Lads I have the dreambox 5oos and this morning its gone off all lights gone off tried different plugs so its not the fuse any ideas

 

Did you try reflashing it or is there no sign of life at all ?

Have a look at the AC Adapter that might have packed in.

Hi all,

I am ex starvXXw cable user sometime ago. i am returning now for advice on the Dream 800. Just recieved today. What a mare i am having with setting up.

I have diconnected the sat cables and plugged them into the dr box. Its got gemini on it. i have done a scan everything fine. I am still subcribed so i put card into new machine all fine.

The problem i am having is how do i set up box to recieve payper view channels without card inserted.

sorry to ask guys but i have been searching for hours on google but i cant find an idiot guide anywhere.

Any help please would be gladly recieved.

got a dreambox 500 yesterday already set up for sly card sharing. all ok but true movies 1 and 2 says something like no signal or no service, i thought these where fta channels

 

dish is not properly aligned

 

it would be strange to have all other channels ok and just 3 channels not working if the dish was misalligned ,i would think a lot more channels would be affected .there was a recent frequency changes that may account for your problem ,if you have an uptodate satellite.xml file in your box an automatic transponder scan should get you back those channels .on my box i now have 2 x true movies /2 x true movies 2/2 x true entertainment you should have likewise. if you do an automatic transponder scan and you dont have duplicate channels as i have you will need to download an uptodate satellite.xml file and ftp it into your box using dream control center (its quite easy )or add the missing frequencies manually with your remote .

if you need help getting an satellite.xml file and ftping it into your box just say and ill post instructions for you .
