Shy Channels on sat with dreambox 500s

    i have a fix dish and a dm500s box and also a router , would you please tell me how i can utilise my router to receive more channels ? thank you

    HI all just brushed over the therad could not see what i am looking for but could have missed it. Looking to see if i could use a wireless connection on the dreambox or has it to be cable.

    hi i received a dreambox500s yesterday i have a problem with it in that it won't switch on or off the led light is constantly on green but wont react to the remote or when i turn it off manually the light stays green and nothing comes up on my tv basically it does nothing i bought it from dreamboxs-store.co.uk who happen to be in hong kong any ideas lads

    Vincheno, it was something I was looking into, now ya can buy HOMEPLUGS(google it) they allow ya to connect to your modem wireless if your unit is not wireless, was thinking in investing in them myself as my modem is upstairs to the TV i would be using

    no its in hong kong i had to pay 19 euro custums and its looking like it wont even switch on for me

    I don't use them for the dreambox just for general home network, but they do work great for dreambox setups,...so I hear ;-)

    still no joy wont do anything or react to the remote emailed them but communication is not easy with time diff
