SID 4 information, FAQ, and Troubleshooting

i dunno i used the one off the AID 3.0 Disc the file says "SID 4.5 Nknave Edition...

 

HAHAHA lmao thats why... SID 4.0 IS NOT 4.5 thast why you see C and you can transfer stuff to C .... for that post you sounded kinda newbish.. lol

 

I have successfully softmodded my xbox with SID 4.5, and now how XBMC running - loving it. I am a newbie to this, so the guide was fantastic.

I have some questions:

1) I want to put a bigger HD in my box, I have the tutorials and they say to copy over my c: and e: partitions. Because 4.5, shows a shadow c:, is this what I used to create the back up, or do I need the actual c: (hidden)?

2) I currently have Evolution dashboard, but I want XBMC as my main dash. I have tried EVERY tutorial on this, but nothing works, it always boots to Evolution dash. Also, the tutorials always seems to refer to E:\dashboard, but I don't have one on my partition. Confused.

to get a retail ms dsah , its on your E/backup or download it from xbox hq .com you dont need an E but you can put it....

so if you just put your C and your eeprom then you end up with a cd-r size which is good ... then you ftp the old xbox hd info ( saves etc etc) faster easeier and better.... less hassles and so goes on....

did you downloaded aid 3? download it from xboxhq/.com or aid deluxe.com and burn it to a disc LIke slayers.... but slayer is HISTORY....

once you ahve a disc replace the dash to E/

since sid 4. and 4.5 looks in E not C

first of all get aid 3 , that will make your xbox and xbox modding experice a whole lot easier... 2nd a retail ms back up from xbox hq .com or from your E/backup/ms dash its fine.. transfer that as your C in xboxhdm .

make an xbox hq acc and ask over there... its more resourceful as they have everyitng all free links downlaods etc etc... i mean its all free so give it a shot ..
