Hi there, I was reading these threads and i saw this: "u r sidekick hiptop code is 60558237 u chek it and pay." From this, I am guessing that you can get unlock codes for sidekick 2's. I have a t-mobile sidekick 2 with this imei: 010298009146943 and i was wondering if you were able to get me an unlock code. Also, how much do u charge? Please email me at **removed**

I have this damned Sidekick-2 unlock-problem too. My toy has the IMEI 010298/00/609733/9 and i will be very happy if someone has the possibility to post the unlock-code. I bought it a as a "nice-price" from Saturn, but the provider said, it is not supported now and i have a nice dekoration thing.

ok guys heres the unlock instructions to unlock all the sidekicks

enjoy!!!

1. Insert your non-TMobile sim card
2. The phone display says "Enter the code".
3. Press the "X" button.
4. Choose the left-up angle button.
5. you will see the menu
6. Choose "setting"--->"network"--->"scan and select manually".
7. The phone will search for your network.
8. When it finds your network, you can use the phone to make calls

 

You can't make calls or send text messages (you can't even access your text inbox), but you can receive calls.

 

in my store here in texas cingular sims send and recieve voice calls but no text or internet.
