Silly broken telly question

I got a new telly about a month ago and put my perfectly working old one in the shed. Tonight my son is having his mates over to sleep in the shed and they want to watch some old videos but the telly wont go on. No life whatsoever. Could this just be damp? Will it some on later when it's dried out? I've got the gas heater on at the minute AND I've changed the fuse etc. Anyone have a clue?

Cancel my plea. The telly is working now. Must have been the damp after all, it was as dead as a doornail an hour ago and it's just popped into life.

Hi Sc0user, it's a braw big shed, 16' x 8'and at the bottom of the garden so I can get some peace. Telly's working fine too but the next night my bedroom one went on the blink and won't recover. How's that for sod's law.
