what sim is it? make sure your not trying to put a 3g sim in a 2g phone, it wont work

if the sim works in another phone that is unlocked, then try to unlock your phone using VERSION 5 of the codes i gave you

had this happen on a nokia 6600, said it was unlocked but would accept new sims, but it finally did after version 5 was input, apparently its a symbian phone thing. but yours isnt i dont think

    but try CODE 5 anyway

let me know what sim it is etc, might help to narrow down the problem

o2 had a tendency to lock the sim card to the phone via the IMEI number many moons ago, dont think they do it now

try an orange sim in there or something

when you typed the codes in what i gave you did it say "sim restriction off"?
