I need to make a DVD of a two-hour concert from two DV tapes for a friend.

Can someone recommend some user-friendly software and encoding recommendations?

I have plenty of storage space, DVD burner, and firewire.

    Thanks,
    Ludwig

Cheap solution: use TMPGEnc to encode the DVD (it can read DV type 1 if I remember correctly), author it with SpruceUp and burn the VIDEO_TS directory using Nero.
