since single layer dvds are the easiest to copy and i haven't yet mastered shrinking dual layered dvds, i was wondering if there is a list somewhere of which movies are single layer and which are dual layer? it would be nice to know when i'm going to blockbuster which movies i can copy easily. so far i know the following movies are single layer and have copied them no problem with dvd decrypter:
    wildthings
    valentine
    phat beach
    2 days in the valley
    jailbait
    city of industry
    six days seven nights
    the big hit
    dogma
    blair witch 2
    muppets from space
    idle hands
    the replacement killers
    scooby doos original mysteries
    colin's sleazy friends
    lost and found
    beverly hills ninja
    las vegas extremes

would anyone like to add to this list?

How many of the above movies do you think are actually worth the time to copy and the cost of the dvd-r? None IMO. :(

You dont need that tool to tell if its dvd 5 or 9. When you rip it it tells you the size, or you can check the disc's properties when it's in your dvd rom drive.

This threads about sharing your findings with others. Do you know any dvd 5's by any chance?

    Donnie Darko (pal)

The pal version of mothman prophecies that i got a hold of isn't dvd 5, but it can easily be altered to fit on a dvd 5 with IFOedit without any transcoding.

Seriously guys, use our tool to submit your findings and you can use it to look for known DVD-5 discs as well. Duplicate information that's posted in the forums instead of a database is useless.
