Site Offline

I've noticed that it's been on and off and on again several times a day over the last while. Why, I don't know but it's likely due to server issues or ISP issues and those could be affected by environmental issues so who knows?

 

Once again AD forums is on and off, but the main page is usually up.

 

Even weirder is that the forums are currently offline but a link to this thread was on the home page, and then by clicking it I was able to link to this thread and reply to it, by scrolling down to the "latest forum posts."

 

I think only the forum link itself is the issue and not the forum which still functions just fine. Perhaps it's being done on purpose to pull more traffic to the homepage instead of the forum, and then forum users can link to the forum from the homepage instead.

 

I contacted him and this is his reply to me.

Never mind, the direct forum link is broken once again.

 

The forum link is offline right now but you can still access it from the main page. Maybe it should be set up that way and then redirect the forum link to the main page and then clean up the top forum link a version of this?

It's been a few days since I've had an issue with the forum link and so with a little optimism it appears to have been resolved.

 

I suppose that depends on what was causing the issue and how it was resolved. All we can do is give it time.

Well my jinx must have a reverse effect because it's still up!
